Executive Director of the European Publishers Council, Angela Mills Wade, said:
“We welcome the significant progress made by the European Commission in their investigation of Google’s abusive practices in their ad tech business. The EPC filed a complaint in February 2022 exposing Google’s control of both the buy and sell sides of their ad tech tools and how they leveraged their position to the disadvantage of publishers. We look forward to working with the Commission as the case continues”.
