EPC writes to the UK government asking for an exemption from new EU customs duties

The European Publishers Council, together with the UK’s Publishers Association and the Booksellers Association, is asking the UK government to work with the European Union to secure an exemption for publishing from the EU import tax on small packages. This is in line with the UNESCO Florence Agreement, which supports the free movement of cultural and educational materials.
